Appointed to the role at just 40 years of age, she is the youngest and also the first female to the hold the position in the organisation’s 99-year history. Since becoming CEO, Antonia has focused on raising the level of professionalism in the real estate sector and improving the public’s perception of real estate practitioners.
Her business acumen and drive have earned her the respect of her peers and she was recently named a finalist in the 2017 Telstra Business Women’s Awards and an Awardee of Merit in the Women In Business Awards of Australia for Greater Brisbane.
Antonia is committed to the real estate profession in Queensland and has helped shape our most significant real estate legislation, the Property Occupations Act. She is also engaged in the ongoing review of the Residential Tenancies and Rooming Accommodation Act.
Her tireless work lobbying all levels of government is unswerving, ensuring the best interests of all real estate professionals are advanced and their rights protected. Next year she will oversee the REIQ’s centennial year of celebrations and is particularly proud of her work to modernise the organisation while honouring its illustrious history.
